When it comes to good Mexican, this is the place!!!! I've been dining at San Marcos since nursing school 14 years ago and this place seems to only get better!!!! The food is always hot and tasty, service is good and the atmosphere is never too much!!! I'm a real chill person and it's never too over the top!!! Great for family and dates as well.

We went the day after Thanksgiving and it was usy but we were still seated right away. The service was good. When you order a large drink, you get a LARGE drink. Was not a fan of the red sauce on the enchilada or the tamale. Be sure to tell them you want ground beef tamale or you will get chicken. The food was ok, but the best I ever had. If you are in the town of Meridian, MS. Stop and give it a try. Definitely stop for a drink.
Lots of good food. My wife and I stoped by on the way to the Lake Street Dive Band show. My first time. The place was packed but we were served quickly. I'm trying to broaden my restaurant pallet so I tried the Fajitas. Lots of shrimp and veggies. I can recommend.
